FUND A CURE

We are thrilled to announce the 2014 Fund A Cure family, Dr. George and Cindy Tzagournis, whose daughter, Olivia, was diagnosed at age 2 with Type 1 Diabetes. The Tzagournises have been stalwart supporters of JDRF for many years and we are deeply honored to highlight their story at this year's Promise Ball.

The Tzagnournis’s story would not be complete without talking about Olivia's grandfather, Dr. Manuel (Manny) Tzagournis, a leading endocrinologist at OSU Wexner Medical Center. After  a lifetime studying Diabetes, Olivia's diagnosis had a profound impact on Dr. Manny.
